Are we there yet?

Here are some pictures of Miss Della with 10 days to go until her due date. She is definitely getting large and feeling very tired. The look on her face most of the time seems to say "I want to be DONE!!"




This Friday we're going up to CCI in Santa Rosa for Della's x-ray to see how many puppies is "full of puppies"!! I can't wait!! ;o)

Poor baby. I wish we could tell her that all is gonna be okay! LOVED the story of "tipping the bed".

Della's Mama Keely was a great one for wanting to nest under something -- our bed being her favorite repeated request.

With one of Keely's early litters a day before delivering she crawled in under our deck (only a few inches of clearance available) and was determined that all the coaxing and waving around of favorite treats in the world wasn't getting her out. Our last ditch effort as Greg was getting out his tools out to dismantle the deck -- was a large piece of ham -- laid over her head on the deck itself as well as waved around at the entrance. She finally dragged herself back out for this super-duper treat. Thank God!
